Certified NRA Instructors. Firearm education and safety is paramount—that’s why we offer a variety of programs and services to promote the safe handling, use and storage of firearms. Elite Tactics and Training located in Houston, TX. We are a full service firearms, personal safety and crime prevention training company teaching people proven techniques and strategies. Classes can be held privately, individually or with a group of friends, family or even co-workers. Classes can be taught in the privacy of your own home or office and tailored for your specific needs. Classes are by appointment any day of the week and evening time hours are available.

Michael, works as a LTC Instructor. He is also a certified Paramedic. Michael has over 20 years of private sector security experience and holds certifications and training from the National Rifle Association. He is a certified Pistol and Rifle Instructor, Range Officer, Refuse To Be A Victim®Instructor, and LTC Instructor. Also, he served as a Correctional Officer for The State of Texas.

License To Carry Class Deposit

Texas LTC Class
$100.00
The License to Carry (LTC) class, formerly known as Concealed Handgun License (CHL), requires operating and shooting a handgun in a safe and proficient manner. LTC does NOT cover the basic procedures of operating/firing a handgun. If you do not feel confident in your ability to properly shoot a handgun, consider attending Basic Handgun course or a Private Instruction Session before attending the LTC class. We will quickly build your level of confidence and proficiency to prepare you for the LTC class.
The LTC curriculum consists of laws and regulations of carrying a concealed handgun. You will also be required to demonstrate your shooting ability through a qualification course of fire. The price of the class includes range fees. Gun rentals and ammunition are not included.
Cost: $100.00
Duration: 5-6 hours total (State mandated 4-6 hours of instruction which includes written exam and firearm proficiency test)
Participants: maximum 12 students
Course of Fire: 50 rounds
Required Gear: Handgun (Revolver or semi-auto, .22 caliber or larger), ammunition, eye & ear protection*
Recommended Gear: paper and pen

Handgun Essentials

This class is designed to teach you the essential skills necessary to operate a handgun safely. We will focus on firearm safety rules, mechanical features of the gun, and teach students the fundamental techniques critical to proper handgun employment. This class includes both classroom. Handgun Essentials is ideal for first time handgun owners or someone looking for formal training to enhance their current skill level.

Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar

The single most important step toward ensuring your own safety is having a personal safety strategy in place before you need it. NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid becoming a victim. Seminars are held across the nation and are open to men and women of all ages. Today, hundreds of federal, state and local law enforcement officials from across the nation utilize this popular program in their crime prevention and community policing initiatives. Corporations, educational institutions and community centers have also adopted the program. All told, more than 100,000 people have benefited from these seminars.
